Senior WordPress Developer, short-term cooperation

We are seeking a skilled WordPress Developer to join our team on a project focused on building a modern, high-performance corporate website for our IT company. The goal is to create a scalable, responsive, and easily maintainable solution that reflects our brand and supports our business objectives.
This is a full-time, short-term cooperation. The durability of the development is about 2 months.

Responsibilities:

• Build reusable, testable, and efficient code;
• Designing, developing, and customizing WordPress themes and plugins;
• Implementing and managing custom post types and custom taxonomies;
• Creating, maintaining, and utilizing meta fields;
• Ensuring website responsiveness and compatibility across various devices;
• Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues promptly;
• Optimizing and enhancing existing solutions;
• Communicate with a team and client directly;
• Provide solutions, ideas, and recommendations for the websites.

Required skills:

• Proven experience with WordPress – 4+ years;
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (React, Next);
• Experience with MySQL, MongoDB Databases: ability to design, query, and optimize databases;
• Understanding of UI/UX Design Principles;
• Experience in analyzing and optimizing website performance and implementing security best practices;
• Knowledge of creating user-friendly and aesthetically pleasing websites;
• Familiarity with REST API: Knowledge of integrating third-party services using APIs;
• Version Control Systems Experience (e.g., Git);
• Intermediate level of English.
