Head of Delivery

We provide consulting and full-cycle software product development services, and are looking for a pragmatic Head of Delivery to join our forces. You will lead our development teams, uphold our culture of innovation and transparency, and own the project from estimation through delivery and post-production support.

Relevant Software is a full-cycle digital product development company. With 12 years on the market, we have delivered over 200 projects across various industries, including FinTech, Healthcare, PropTech, Construction, Retail, and Media.

We provide consulting and full-cycle software product development services, and are looking for a pragmatic Head of Delivery to join our forces. You will lead our development teams, uphold our culture of innovation and transparency, and own the project from estimation through delivery and post-production support. We respect breaking the status quo and have high standards for the software delivery process.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of project managers, guiding project execution, performance reviews, and professional development.
  • Directly manage projects, including scope definition, resource allocation, timeline management, and risk mitigation.
  • Actively participate in the presale phase, partnering with sales, leadership, and delivery teams to shape solutions, validate delivery approaches, assess risks, estimate scope and timelines, and ensure smooth transition from presale to project execution.
  • Oversee the planning and execution of projects across the team, ensuring collaboration, adherence to agile methodologies, and sustained Green delivery status at both project and portfolio levels.
  • Monitor project KPIs, financials, and performance metrics to ensure efficiency and alignment with client expectations.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, handle escalations, provide regular updates, and ensure high customer satisfaction, owning account management responsibilities in partnership with sales and leadership.
  • Identify and remove impediments for the team, coaching members on best practices in delivery and process optimization.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to align project outcomes with business objectives, including contractual terms and compliance.
  • Handle resource planning, budgeting, and forecasting to support efficient operations.
  • Provide proactive reporting on delivery targets, commitments, and progress to senior leadership, directly reporting to the CEO.
  • Act as the expert on Jira and Tempo usage across delivery operations, fully leveraging their capabilities to ensure delivery transparency, predictability, and continuous improvement.

Requirements 

  • 4+ years of experience in delivery management in the IT outsource industry, preferably in mid-sized companies.
  • Proven track record in managing agile projects, with expertise in Scrum, Kanban, or other methodologies.
  • Hands-on experience in presale: discovery, solution shaping, estimation, delivery planning, and risk assessment.
  • Experience leading teams, including mentoring project managers.
  • Background in software engineering or technical delivery.
  • Experience in client-facing roles.
  • Advanced English proficiency (spoken and written) for effective communication with teams and clients.
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a resource-constrained environment.
  • Flexibility to travel internationally for client meetings, as needed.

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and basic CI/CD practices.
  • A focus on industries like healthcare, finance, or digital services.
