The manual testers start with the user interface (UI). First, they check that the keys are clearly labeled and all the buttons are clearly labeled. If the UI has pull-down menus, the testers make sure that the menus are clear and can be easily understood. The number of items should be indicated. 

Next, the testers go through the reports, orders, and billing forms and make sure that all the fields are displayed correctly and can be read easily. They check that all the fields can be properly filled and that the fields are arranged logically. The testers also confirm that the colors, layouts, and font types used in the reports, orders, and billing forms are visible and easy to read.
